a little owl love

Hello hello! I've been a busy little bee over the last couple of days, been making a few little bits and pieces. My sister is going to model them all for me so I can FINALLY set up my Etsy, so very excited about that. Also, this blog will soon be moving to a new name, which I am still yet to announce! As soon as I have my stationery sorted I will do a little preview here. For now though, here is a peek at my new owl brooch. This one sits lovely on your jumper or as a badge or even on your hat. He just wants to be your friend!

hurray

Hi Everyone, have some very exciting news today, my super cute baby sister has come home from uni for a while! I'm really looking forward to crafting with her and making pretty things. I'll post some pictures tomorrow. My car is poorly at the moment so I can't go to Leicester on my usual weekly trip so that is a bit of a dampner. Nevermind, I will see my Beau on Monday and until then I will craft with Laura Lou!

egciting...

Evening again! Time goes sooo quickly. Im very excited for tomorrow. Easter sunday is so much fun and this year I get to share our family tradition of an egg hunt with Haydn. I have got him a cute little basket and hid large and teensy eggs all over the house for him to find. I will get some pics tomorrow and try and post them here.

goodnight and a cake

Evening lovelies! Its sooo late again! My eyes are actually stinging. Anyway, I got 7 out of 14 to do's done today! Yippee. 6 days left to do the other 7. Good start. However, my to do lists have a cheeky little habit of extending themselves through the week! Just been admiring the work of the AMAZING Cath Kidston. in...love! I came across this amazingly sweet wedding cake. It's just perfect!

Evening! I just this minute finished this cute little blue bracelet. I think it will look super, either on a summery day or dressed up a bit in the evening, what do you think? Loving the colour blue at the moment, actually most pastels really. Baby Pink, Powder Blue and Mint Green...they all sound gorgeous too. Here it is!

Cupcake heaven...

My first ever decorated cupcake. Im sooo chuffed with it, its really cute. Thinking these would be a creally nice idea to have instead of placecards at my wedding with little signs in them with peoples names on them.

dreaming...

Good evening!

I've been thinking about a dreamy situation, I would absolutely love one day to start up a cute handmade pretties shop alongside a cupcakery, where I would also sell hand decorated cupcakes and sweets! Yummy, I'd like to have it set in a gorgeous country cottage and have a studio in the back where I can make beautiful things all day long. I'd also like to open my studio up every now and again to hold small intimate workshops on crafting/bookbinding and maybe sugarcraft. I would live upstairs with my boys and have some chickens in the back garden, and maybe a goat.

I love this cottage, it's so pretty and has so much character, i'd love this to be treasure and treats!
